Senior Engineering Geologist - London

An established and growing multidisciplinary consultancy in London is looking to bring in a Senior Engineering Geologist to strengthen their geotechnical and geoenvironmental team. The business works across residential, commercial and infrastructure schemes, offering a strong pipeline of technically interesting work and clear opportunities to progress.
The role As a Senior Engineering Geologist, you'll take a leading role in the delivery of ground investigation and assessment projects from start to finish. You'll be trusted to manage projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the technical quality of outputs.
Key responsibilities
* Planning and overseeing ground investigations
* Logging soil and rock to a high standard (BS5930)
* Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
* Managing project timelines, budgets, and client communication
* Supervising site works and subcontractors
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Contributing to business development and client relationships
What they're looking for
* Experience in an engineering geology or geotechnical role
* Strong ground investigation and reporting experience
* Confident working both on-site and in the office
* Ability to manage projects and communicate with clients
* Familiarity with UK standards and best practice
* Chartered status (or working towards) would be beneficial
