Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Richmond
Salay: £500 - £550 per week
Contracted hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:00pm)
Start date: September 2026

We are working with a forward-thinking school in Richmond that is deeply committed to personalised learning and meaningful support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school has a strong focus on recognising each child’s individual strengths and creating opportunities for them to succeed in their own way. This role involves working closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide tailored support to students with a range of additional needs. It’s a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
Support students with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
Encourage student independence and confidence
About You
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)
Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive and adaptable attitude
Passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing
Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN (advantageous)
