About the role: Morrison Highland is looking to recruit two Assistant Site Managers, ideally based in or around the Inverness area with opportunities to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.
What you will be doing
* Direct the necessary labour, plant, staff and equipment to achieve both plot and project completion on time, to specification and within budget.
* Monitor that the Buying team and Surveying department order the correct materials and sub-contract services in good time to meet contract obligations.
* Manage Site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with Group Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations.
* Lead and develop staff and operatives to create a working environment that engenders high morale.
About you
* Experience of working within the Construction industry.
* Positive contribution to behavioural safety initiatives.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Present a clean and tidy site and have a good knowledge of the Considerate Contractor’s requirements to achieve high scores.
