Main purpose of the position
As part of a leading Financial sector key account team, the Business Analyst mines data to develop a deeper understanding of performance, supporting enhanced managerial decision-making through the delivery of clear, actionable information. The successful analyst will be crucial to operational delivery for key projects aimed at reshaping operations through increased efficiency and improved service delivery. The analyst will liaise with various ISS teams, client representatives, and third-party operations to provide insights that drive positive business outcomes.
What you’ll do
1. Collaborate with a strategy unit to establish baseline performance metrics that connect data to generate meaningful insights.
2. Utilize financial and operational data to identify opportunities for business improvements.
3. Create engaging reports and presentations to effectively communicate data insights.
4. Coordinate with the team to develop pilot projects to test opportunities for increased efficiency based on insights.
5. Define success criteria for pilot projects and support tracking outcomes.
6. Assist in key meetings such as business reviews and strategy sessions.
7. Work closely with digital services and business intelligence teams to leverage existing reports and develop custom analyses as needed.

Key qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field; an MBA or equivalent is desirable.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis, preferably within real estate or facilities management sectors.
* Experience in using data to inform business decisions.
* Proven ability to collaborate across different business functions.
Personal skills
* Strong research skills and a passion for data mining.
* Understanding of financial analysis, including business case development and ROI/NPV calculations.
* Organized with effective task management skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* BI tool proficiency, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
* Strong presentation development skills.
* Knowledge of FM industry operations and metrics (preferred but not required).
