Responsibilities
Due to significant growth in learner numbers, partnerships with employers, external organisations, and local and regional projects, the Childcare and Early Years curriculum is expanding and requires a Curriculum Coordinator to support the achievement and success of its plans, targets and objectives. This role will require you to contribute to, and coordinate on specific aspects of the operational and strategic aspects of the curriculum.
Working closely with the Head and Director, you will proactively support the coordination and delivery of an exceptional student experience. You will therefore need to be able to demonstrate:
* Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills;
* Expertise in the curriculum areas of the role and have experience of working with young people aged 16+, as well as mature learners across part- and full-time provision;
* The ability to build and develop sustainable relationships with employers and external agencies;
* Creative and innovative approaches, to deliver an exceptional student experience and student outcomes;
* Proven teaching expertise in a related subject area and a profile of grade 1 or 2 lesson observations.
Qualifications
You should hold a relevant degree or professional qualification, maths and English at level 2 or equivalent alongside a teaching qualification at level 5.
