Key Responsibilities: As a Production Design Engineer, you will: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure new bearings are manufacturble. Develop and implement efficient production processes for new bearings. Create manufacturing plans, including bills of materials and production schedules. Proactively identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks. Design and implement robust gauging solutions. Continuously improve manufacturing processes to optimize quality and efficiency. To be successful you will need: A Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably bearings or precision components). Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and processes. Experience with soft machining and hard machining processes is beneficial. CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Sponsorship: applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
