About us MASHCo operates a vital aviation fuel farm which is COMAH Upper Teir, delivering fuel for Manchester Airport. This is a newly created role following MASHCo’s move to a “self-operating” organisational model. About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a dynamic and wide ranging role where you will lead and coordinate compliance activities across health, safety, security, environmental and legal frameworks, ensuring we meet and exceed aviation and industrial safety expectations. You will be responsible for Developing and implementing HSSE and compliance strategies Promoting a proactive, safety-first culture across the business Maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, airport, and JIG standards Coordinating internal and external audits (HSSE, JIG, legal, security) Maintaining and enhancing the company’s HSSE Management System Supporting sustainability, risk assessments, and cyber security compliance Acting as the company’s point of contact for HSSE and compliance issues What you will bring Proven HSSE/Compliance experience in aviation, fuel, utilities, or process industry (ideal) Sound knowledge of relevant UK HSE, environmental and industry-specific legislation Confident communicator with the ability to influence across levels and stakeholders Analytical with great attention to detail and strong reporting skills Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively Comfortable reviewing and interpreting legislation and policies Qualifications/Training Degree-level education or equivalent experience NEBOSH, IEMA or IOSH certification (preferred) Familiarity with JIG standards and COMAH regulations (advantageous) Why Join Us?
