Our client - a family-run business just outside St. Ives in Cambridgeshire are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join their friendly team on a full time permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role will include supporting the accounts team with sales and purchase ledgers; ad-hoc admin duties which include processing supplier invoices, dealing with supplier and customer queries, chasing courier claims, and keeping spreadsheets up to date. Supporting with month-ends and years-ends.
1. Monthly - Send out statements to customers
2. Maintain and deal with accounts customer and supplier emails and provide cover for other emails received
3. Email invoices to overseas customers and deal with queries and raising the daily UK invoices
4. Support with emails from customers and sales staff
5. Initial credit checks admin for new customers and increase limits for existing customers for Accounts Office Manager sign off
6. Check and post all non Purchase Orders invoices (PO) and PO invoices to relevant suppliers accounts
7. Update freight costing sheet
8. Assist with staff expenses and company credit cards
