Analogue RF Engineer

Key responsibilities and tasks
 * Design and develop innovative, reliable RF and analogue solutions.
 * Conduct testing, measurement, debugging and verification to ensure high performance and quality.
 * Use advanced simulation and analysis tools to optimise designs and anticipate challenges.
 * Present complex technical issues clearly during design reviews and influence decisions.
 * Prepare detailed design documents guiding teams and stakeholders.
 * Provide technical support to production teams, ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacturing.
About you
 * BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable.
 * Relevant design and product development experience in commercial, industrial or defence sectors.
 * Knowledge of engineering processes and lifecycles, including DDQS and lean engineering.
 * Experience with HF system challenges – cosite interference, co‑location.
 * Experience with HF communication standards, topside modelling and link‑budget analysis (advantageous).
 * Knowledge of RF components – PAs, filters, combiners, receivers, oscillators, synthesizers, EMC.
 * Knowledge of V/UHF systems beneficial.
 * Understanding of digital control, DSP and FPGA (desirable).
 * Proficiency in CAD tools – Cadence Design Engineer, Microwave Office, LTSpice.
 * SC clearance required; prior clearance advantageous.
