A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and conscientious Assistant Accountant to assist with the management accounts for our not-for-profit client. Reporting to the Head of Finance and assisting key business stakeholders with the day-to-day accounts of the charity, this is a great opportunity for someone who is AAT Level 3 qualified, or part qualified CIMA or ACCA looking for the next step up in their career.
Assistant Accountant Responsibilities
Reporting to an supportive manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Managing the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and weekly pay runs.
End to end management of the weekly banking and assistance with bank and balance reconciliations.
Managing and monitoring the spend of rent, utilities and petty cash.
Preparing, reviewing and accruals of monthly credit card transactions
Preparing and processing month-end recharge journals.
Assisting with payroll, processing timesheets, rectifying any errors and solving queries in a timely manner.
Using systems and Excel for reporting.
