The role of Senior Life Assurance and Pensions Administrator will include:
1. Coordinate the claims process for death in service, ill health retirement and early retirement cases
2. Producing meeting packs and minutes to support decision making in line with legal requirements, scheme rules and Group policy
3. Act as a point of contact for pension queries and take ownership for their accurate resolution
4. Maintain team mailboxes in line with agreed principles and procedures
5. Complete, maintain and monitor accurate records to ensure appropriate audit trails are in place to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and limit risk to the Group
6. Support with updating and effectively utilise pension administration systems to accurately maintain employee pension records and provide data to pension scheme providers
Skills and experiences:
7. Previous experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within HR, payroll, finance or consultancy
8. An excellent communicator with experience delivering customer-focused services and handling confidential information with the highest level of integrity
9. Numerate with the ability to produce reports and analyse large data sets using Excel
10. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
11. Highly organized with the ability to prioritise tasks and workload
12. Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
13. Ability to deal sensitively and with discretion

26. £18,871 per annum (rising to £19,865 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
The full time equivalent salary for this role is £27,521 based on 35 hours per week rising to £28,970 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
