Localization Manager – JD.COM
JD.COM seeks a Localization Manager to lead and scale the localization of its global e‑commerce platform.
* Lead the localization of the overseas e‑commerce website interface, managing language service providers and linguistic resources.
* Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to understand user needs and create a consistent, coherent multilingual user experience.
* Ensure the localization quality of e‑commerce web content through rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) and issue resolution, maintaining a hands‑on approach.
* Master key challenges in the localization process, directing language quality optimization projects and cooperating with development teams to drive system and tool improvements.
* Build and maintain the localization team’s knowledge base, including terminology, style guides, and process documentation.
* Participate in other localization‑related projects, propose proactive improvements, and continuously optimize team workflows and influence.
* Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to provide professional localization language solutions for new product launches and marketing campaigns.
* Partner deeply with the AI team to participate in the training and optimization of JD.COM’s large multilingual AI models, performing data annotation, quality assessment, prompt optimization, and evaluation/feedback on generated results for French, German, Dutch, and English data, continuously enhancing the AI’s translation quality and native adaptation capabilities.
