Senior Finance Analyst for a large, well-known UK brand to support enterprise-wide cost visibility and smarter, insight-led decision making
£60,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + bonus + benefits
Location: Basingstoke (3 days a week in the office)

A newly created opportunity has arisen for a commercially aware Senior Cost Analyst – to join a national consumer services organisation during an exciting period of transformation. Sitting within a newly established Group Cost team, this role will play a key part in improving cost transparency, shaping reporting standards, and embedding a cost-conscious mindset across the business.
Working directly with the CFO, COO, Finance Directors and senior stakeholders, you’ll be central to designing and delivering cost reporting frameworks, partnering with the business to optimise spend, and supporting a culture of accountability.
Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
* Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with cost modelling and productivity KPIs
* Background in FP&A, cost analysis or commercial finance in large, complex environments
* Excellent stakeholder management skills; confident communicating with senior leadership
* Able to build and improve cost reporting processes in a collaborative way
* Proactive, methodical and commercially minded, with high attention to detail
* Comfortable working under pressure and across multiple priorities
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver cost reporting frameworks across the group, including end-to-end P&Ls and category insights
* Partner with functional teams (e.g. IT, operations) to track and manage spend
* Help define and implement allocation methodologies and cost categorisation standards
* Work closely with finance and business leadership to align cost visibility with strategy
* Provide actionable insight to support investment decisions and financial planning
* Promote a cost-aware, value-driven culture across the organisation
* Support on broader cost transformation initiatives and ad hoc projects
