Position Overview
Medical Equipment Management Service – Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support as part of a team carrying out service and repair work on a wide range of medical devices.
* Work across many clinical specialities, supporting the delivery of world‑class healthcare at four acute hospital sites and within the local healthcare community.
* Ensure the day‑to‑day running of the service, including travelling and working at various hospitals and clinics in Lothian.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Qualified to SCQF level 8 or higher in an electrical/electronic discipline, or have equivalent training and experience.
* Self‑motivated and able to work effectively within a team.
* Strong interpersonal skills, flexible and methodical approach.
* PVG Scheme membership or record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), or will register before starting.

To work in the United Kingdom, an individual must demonstrate relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
