Ultrasound Technician/Field Service Engineer
THE COMPANY
Our Client is the UKs leading independent expert specialising in the repair and servicing of electronic medical equipment/instrumentation, specifically Ultrasounds. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of the service they provide. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
THE ROLE
Due to an internal promotion they now require an Ultrasound Technician to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance of machines on clients premises and simple probe repairs when in the workshop. Your role will include:
* Carrying out preventative maintenance on client sites UK wide, generally hospitals. It is estimated that you will be out an average of 3 days a week, home at night.
* Providing advice and support to customers.
* Delivering and collecting loan equipment from customers.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with customers.
* Probe repairs when in the workshop.
THE CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career. You must be able to demonstrate:
* Experience of visiting customer sites, ideally hospitals.
* Technical background/bent.
* Good team player.
* Take pride in your work.
* Excellent communication skills as this is a customer facing role.
* High level of dexterity.
* Driving license.
SALARY: Depending on experience, with 10% performance related bonus.
PACKAGE: 4% into Pension Scheme? (If intended to be 4% not sure. Kept as in original: 4 into Pension Scheme, 25 Days Annual Holiday and 8 Bank Holidays, Life Assurance/Death In Service: 4 x Annual Salary, Health Cash Plan, etc.).
LOCATION: Northamptonshire.
