Are you a part-qualified accountant or an experienced finance professional ready for a hands-on, autonomous role in a fast-paced commercial environment? We're working with a well-established organisation in the property sector to find a Management Accountant who can take ownership of the monthly accounts, drive improvements in financial processes, and become a trusted support to the senior leadership team. The Role: Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of monthly financial reporting, managing the day-to-day accounting operations, and supporting the wider business with budgeting and forecasting. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepayments Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes Manage tenant invoicing, aged debt reporting, and rent/service charge collections Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting Submit VAT returns and ensure ongoing HMRC compliance Liaise with external accountants on year-end accounts and audits Collaborate with operational teams and external stakeholders on financial matters About You: Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or qualified by experience Confident producing management accounts independently Skilled in using Xero or similar accounting software Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, VAT and reconciliations Detail-oriented, highly organised, and a strong communicator This role offers hybrid working, 25 days holiday as well as company pension.
