We are searching for a talented Workforce Planning Manager to support the delivery of our Workforce Strategy. This is an important role, facilitating the optimisation of workforce to meet current and future business needs.
�
You will be responsible for analysing workforce data to help forecast staffing requirements and aid the development of strategies to ensure that we have the right people in the right roles at the right time.
�
You will work closely with the Head of Talent and Workforce Planning and Workforce Planning Business Partner, assisting them in all workforce planning-related activities including capacity planning, skills gap analysis and succession planning. This position is providing maternity cover on a 12-month fixed term contract.
�
Key responsibilities:
�
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the post holder.
�
1. Utilise workforce analytics tools, Workday Adaptive Planning and PowerBI to track and measure key workforce metrics. This includes generating reports and dashboards that provide insights to senior stakeholders to drive informed decision making.
�
2. Support directorates with their capacity planning to help them optimise their staffing levels so that they can maximise their productivity and efficiency outputs.
�
3. Aid the development and implementation of programmes to uplift staff skill capabilities via the delivery of skills gap analyses in priority directorates.
�
4. Assist in the identification of critical roles within the organisation to enable the creation of succession plans. This will involve liaising with directorates to identify their high potential employees.
�
5. Liaise with directorates to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to facilitate more streamlined workforce management processes.
�
6. Act as a project coordinator, responsible for updating the relevant project management documentation that is associated with the Workforce Strategy.
�
7. Work in conjunction with the Talent and Workforce Planning team and wider People Services function to support the communication of the Workforce Strategy�s progress to the wider organisation.
�
8. Maintain compliance with the legislative, regulatory, financial and governmental reporting requirements within the People Services function, for example in the sphere of Data Protection, Freedom of Information, Equal Opportunities and public sector reporting standards.
