ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for an Employment Coach to join our team, working in close partnership with Turning Point to deliver life-changing employment support for people in Oldham and Rochdale who are accessing community drug and alcohol treatment services. Using the Individual Placement Service (IPS) approach, you’ll help individuals on their recovery journey, supporting them to secure and sustain meaningful work that aids their wellbeing and long-term independence. Within your role, you will manage a caseload of approximately 25 clients, providing 1:1 coaching and guidance. You’ll tailor person-centred employment plans that improve confidence, build skills, and create pathways into volunteering, training, and sustainable paid employment. Alongside this, you’ll source job opportunities, engage directly with local employers, and provide in-work support to ensure positive and lasting outcomes. Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You’ll work closely with Turning Point colleagues, attend multidisciplinary team meetings, and build effective relationships with clinical staff and external partners to ensure joined-up support.
