Base Hospital: The West Wing, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford
Work Pattern: To be agreed with supervising consultant
Averaged Hours per Week: 48 hours (two‑tier rota, on second tier)
Start Date: August 2026
The role involves the care of patients on the wards, in the theatres and at out‑patient clinics. Key responsibilities include:
* Operating sessions
* Attendance at ward rounds and routine ward work
* Outpatient clinics
* Ward cover as required
Fellows will also participate in the Movement Disorder/Pain programme and assist with assessment of junior colleagues using the ISCP assessment process.
The post is based at the West Wing with occasional visits to peripheral outpatient clinics in the region, and may involve a rotation to another unit in the future.
