What you’ll be doing?

Salary £37,000 pro rata
This role isbased at Bovey Castle working as part ofour wider Sales team as our ‘person on the ground’ and is the only role of thisnature across our portfolio. It makes it a really excitingopportunity for someone to join us, to help shape the role and ultimately drivesales whilst identifying new business opportunities.
You will be Responsible for drivingCorporate and Leisure introductions following the strategic goals set for BoveyCastle. Identifying market opportunities through direct face to faceappointments, events and networking within key areas in the Southwest such asBristol and Exeter.
Your focus will be on proactiveapproach to driving a modern sales strategywhich reflects the diverse offering of the hotel and its activities – focusingon both leisure and corporate to ultimately drive sales.
You will need to be highlycollaborative, passionate to learn and able to inject new ideas to create andlaunch new sales initiatives.
This is not a role for someonewho is ‘desk happy’ but someone who wantsto be out, networking and securing business.
What you’ll need
1. Most importantly… be a ‘fresh thinker’, highly creative with a passion for the hospitality industry gained in a similar role or working within the industry; along with ability to bring new ideas and sales initiatives to the table.
2. As important, is your ability to work with people; having the ability to influence and excite our team to generate future business.
3. A good understanding of the sales landscape with a passion to learn more
4. Bring sales initiatives to life, being responsible for execution, engagement and measurement.
5. A quick self-learner, with a pro-active calculated ‘give it a go’ attitude; equally someone who is resilient and recovers well when met with challenges;
