This role is pivotal in shaping the sustainable future of the industry. The position is based in Warwick and offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to key commercial and vendor management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and sustain effective relationships with suppliers to deliver exceptional performance in cost, quality, time, and compliance.
Lead the contract management activity for a portfolio of up to 3 strategic Managed Service Agreements.
Negotiate and agree on new call-off contracts as required.
Prepare contract documentation in collaboration with stakeholders during the contract lifecycle.
Act as point of contact for commercial and contract support, ensuring policies and procedures are correctly adopted.
Provide advice and recommendations on commercial risks and governance, and execute plans to mitigate service delivery issues.
Support Procurement teams in RFP shaping, commercial strategy, negotiations, and contracting.
Lead the onboarding of new supplier contracts and develop insights to improve contract and vendor management processes.
Use tools such as Power BI to develop supplier scorecards and metrics to measure performance.
Manage invoicing administration to ensure financial governance and control.
Job Requirements:
Comprehensive experience in contract management, from negotiation and onboarding to renewal and exit.
Experience managing outsourced Managed Service Provider contracts and offshore suppliers in BPO, Learning, IT or similar categories.
Deep knowledge of supplier management practices to build strong, value-driven relationships.
Confidence in managing complex supplier portfolios and commercial contracting models.
Commercial acumen, with experience balancing commercial priorities with risk management and regulatory compliance.
Solid understanding of contractual documentation, able to review, interpret, and advise on contract rights and obligations.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, effective at all levels including senior leaders.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills to drive value throughout the life of a contract.
Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering improved ways of working and efficiencies.
Analytical approach to interpret commercial and performance data, supporting decision making with insightful recommendations.
Understanding of Energy & Utilities or other regulated environments is useful but not essential.
Industry standard and/or professional body accreditations like MCIPS or IACCM are highly desirable.
