Join Our Team as a Principal Engineer - Test Integration!
Location: Barrow-in-Furness (On-Site)

Responsibilities
* Collaborating with design teams to create comprehensive test documentation that evaluates system rigor.
* Interpreting customer needs for integration activities and delivering on agreed-upon objectives.
* Conducting integration testing in accordance with approved procedures, taking ownership of verification and validation activities.
* Investigating complex technical faults and queries related to integrated systems, leveraging your deep understanding of technical design.
* Acting as a technical liaison between design and commissioning teams on test-related topics.
* Compiling and communicating test evidence and reports through various mediums.
* Developing test strategies and procedures in collaboration with Systems design teams.
* Enhancing our Integration test capability through workshops, project planning, and mentoring.
Your Skills and Experiences
Essential:
* Relevant qualification or engineering experience (Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent).
* Ability to provide technical knowledge and instruction during emergent incidents.
* Expertise in guiding Control Systems.
* Understanding of Electrical Testing and/or Software Testing.
* Experience in Test and Acceptance within a high assurance engineering environment.
Desirable:
* In-depth knowledge of safety controls and procedures in an operational environment.

The Test & Integration Team
As part of our dynamic Test & Integration team, you'll have the opportunity to develop and perform innovative integration testing on state-of-the-art electrical programmable equipment. Your contributions will be vital in creating complex test procedures that govern critical de-risking activities.
This team is essential in testing vital boat systems, writing test procedures, and delivering measures at significant stages of submarine construction. With our team expected to grow rapidly, you'll find ample opportunities for professional development.
