Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: M34, Manchester
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Reeson Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a large and busy EYFS provision in the M34 area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about early years education and ready to make a lasting impact.
As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, you will be working within the school's EYFS unit, supporting children of all abilities and needs. The school is seeking a proactive and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can think on their feet, engage pupils in play and learning, and help them thrive both socially and academically.
Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
1. Support learning and development within the EYFS framework
2. Work alongside class teachers to create a positive and nurturing environment
3. Provide one-to-one and small group support as a Teaching Assistant
4. Assist with personal care, snack routines, and daily transitions
5. Adapt activities to meet the needs of all learners as a Teaching Assistant
6. Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
7. Support children with SEND within the EYFS provision
8. Promote independence and confidence in every child
9. Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently as a Teaching Assistant
10. Be an active and reliable part of the EYFS team as a Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
11. Previous experience working in EYFS or as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
12. Understanding of early years child development and the EYFS framework
13. Flexible, quick-thinking, and able to adapt to a busy provision
14. Strong teamwork and communication skills
15. Caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
16. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
17. Full commitment to a long-term Teaching Assistant role
