Base pay range

A Fantastic Opportunity: Supplier Relationship Manager

You will lead and mature our approach to Supplier Relationship Management. This is a pivotal role within our Indirect Procurement function, ensuring that our supplier relationships are aligned with company goals, deliver exceptional value for money and contribute innovation and continuous improvement.

You will be expected to lead on the management of the supply chain and supplier performance/resilience in categories such as IT, Facilities, HR and Fleet. You will build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholder which are underpinned by collaborative behaviours, ensuring the identification of opportunities to continuously improve the delivery of goods and services within the Indirect category.

* Build and maintain robust, collaborative partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring performance through SLA and KPI oversight, innovation, and compliance
* Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic supplier meetings
* Develop supplier segmentation strategies and tailored engagement plans for strategic suppliers
* Facilitate forums to provide feedback to key stakeholders on supplier performance and governance for critical supplier partnerships (e.g. IT & Telecom, Facilities, Fleet, HR, and Procurement)
* Raise concerns regarding demand to the relevant business owner and commercial issues to Procurement
* Influence decision-makers to ensure supplier selection is based on performance and strategic fit
* Apply Supplier Relationship Management methodologies and best practices throughout the lifecycle of projects, programmes, and procurements
* Share knowledge and best practices with the Indirect Procurement Team to support improved outcomes
* Communicate complex and high-volume data clearly using visual tools such as charts, graphs, and diagrams
* Support adherence to Procurement policy across the organisation
* Escalate compliance concerns, breaches, or performance issues promptly to the Contract Manager to ensure timely corrective actions
* Collaborate closely with the Contract Manager and Procurement Team to support decisions on contract renewals, extensions, or re-tenders, ensuring alignment with governance, procurement policy, and other relevant principles

The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.


What we’re looking for

We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who meet the following criteria:

* Proven experience in Supplier Relationship Management
* Experience dealing with Supplier Renewals in IT & Telecom
* Negotiation and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders to drive value
* Solid understanding of contract terms, commercial models, and risk/compliance management
* Proven ability to manage supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs
* Ability to segment suppliers by strategic importance
* Skilled in building and maintaining productive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
* Capable of identifying and managing delivery and quality risks, cost drivers, and value opportunities
* Strong analytical skills to interpret supplier data, performance trends, and spend information
* Experience using dashboards and scorecards to drive performance improvement
* Ability to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions
* Effective dispute resolution skills
* Strong influencing and conflict management capabilities
