About the Role
The Data & BI Analyst will support data quality, governance, and insight generation across Fenwick’s core business systems. The role involves monitoring and assessing data accuracy, investigating issues, identifying root causes, and working with both business and IT teams to implement solutions. You will also contribute to the development of data quality reporting and dashboards to ensure stakeholders have access to reliable and consistent information.
In addition, the role includes responsibilities across data analysis and BI development. This will involve building and maintaining dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Qlik, writing SQL queries to analyse and transform data, and supporting the creation of curated datasets within Snowflake. You will also assist with data modelling and reporting layer design, helping to structure data effectively for business use, while identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data pipelines and documentation.
The position requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Experience with SQL, BI tools, or cloud-based data platforms is advantageous but not essential, as the role provides development across data technologies, governance frameworks, and business intelligence processes.
What we are looking for in a candidate…
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work with data and draw meaningful insights
* Confident communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* Organised with attention to detail
* Basic SQL knowledge or experience working with databases
* Experience with BI tools is advantageous (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
* Understanding of data modelling concepts
* Awareness of cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Azure)
* Experience with Excel for data analysis
