East Kent Colleges Group is seeking an Estates Assistant to join EKC Canterbury College. The Estates Assistant will play a key role in the Estates team, providing caretaking services across the college. Responsibilities include unlocking and locking buildings, setting intruder alarms before and after operational hours, including weekends, and being a responsible key holder. The role also involves being part of the on-call team.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual who can work independently or as part of a team. You should be flexible, organized, and able to work under pressure. Experience or ability to learn about estate and building maintenance is required, along with good DIY skills, understanding of health and safety, fire alarm and emergency light testing, and record keeping. Enthusiasm is more important than experience.
The successful candidate should ideally live within 20 minutes of the campus.
