The Post
The Central Legal Office (CLO) provides comprehensive legal services to Health Boards and Special NHS Entities in Scotland, covering all aspects of litigation and employment law, property transactions and commercial contracts.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality administrative and legal secretarial support to a team of Employment Solicitors.
* Prepare relevant legal documentation for Tribunal hearings using the iCasework management system.
* Arrange meetings and training events, maintain diaries and manage file organisation.
* Handle telephone enquiries and perform other duties as required.
* Carry out copy‑typing and audio transcription as a small component of the role.
Qualifications
* Proven secretarial experience and knowledge of secretarial processes to HNC level.
* Audio and copy‑typing skills; knowledge of Employment Tribunal terminology desirable.
* Efficient use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and keen interest in IT, including case‑management systems.
