Personnel Selection Recruitment are seeking hands on Production and Assembly Operatives to work for our established client in Newhaven.
Shift patterns available are AM: 06:55 am to 14:55 pm or PM: 14:45 pm to 22:45 pm. We are interested to hear from candidates that can do either one shift pattern or be happy to alternate each week.
Training offered to the right candidates; however you will need to meet the following requirements to be considered for the role:
* Previous Production / Assembly background preferred.
* Confident in the use of hand and small power tools.
* Previously operated machinery – Ideal but not essential.
* Able to work to instructions and diagrams.
* Strong eyesight and good attention to small details.
* Able to work at a fast pace when the requirement is needed.
* Happy to work in a manual role to include lifting and bending.
* Understanding of English language both written and verbal.
* Positive "can do" attitude.
Job Function
* Hands on assembly using hand tools and associated equipment.
* Operation of production machinery.
* Assembly of light plastic or electronic items.
* Inspecting quality of work produced.
* Labelling and packing items for dispatch.
