Compensation
$80,000 – $110,000 DOE
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and support subsurface investigations across environmental and infrastructure projects
* Oversee drilling, field operations, and data collection efforts
* Conduct groundwater monitoring, aquifer testing, and geologic mapping
* Interpret subsurface and hydrogeologic data for technical analysis
* Prepare detailed technical reports integrating multi‑source data
* Utilize GIS tools (QGIS, Surfer) to create maps and visualizations
* Support project planning, proposals, and client communication
What You’ll Need to Be Considered
* Active Professional Geologist (PG) license
* Ability to travel up to 50% locally (usually home at night), including extended field assignments
* Experience with subsurface data interpretation and technical reporting
* Familiarity with GIS tools such as QGIS or Surfer
* Comfort working in field environments and handling physical demands
