Service & Repair Engineer
Location: Various UK Sites
Hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday, plus overtime
Type: Permanent
The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Service & Repair Engineer to join our Operations Team. You’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing assistive equipment such as ceiling hoists, height-adjustable baths and basins, changing couches, and other specialist mobility equipment. You’ll work across diverse environments and ensure all work meets manufacturer and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Do
* Complete service and repair tasks to a high standard
* Maintain van stock and drive safely
* Communicate effectively with clients
* Record work using our ERP system (Simpro)
* Respond to emergency repairs
* Share best practices and support team training
What We’re Looking For
* Ability to follow service instructions and wiring diagrams
* Fault-finding skills using electrical test meters
* Experience with power tools and working safely at height
* Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
* Positive, proactive attitude
* PASMA, SSSP, CITB, or IPAF certifications (training available)
* Basic IT skills and tablet use
* Full UK driving licence & Enhanced DBS check
* Physically fit and able to work independently
* Experience with mobility equipment (preferred)
