Job Description
Robert Half are working in exclusive partnership with a global, private equity backed based in Bristol to recruit a Head of Financial Reporting on a permanent basis. This is a highly visible role in the business taking ownership over the delivery of statutory accounts, consolidations and associated reporting across 50+ entities globally.
The Head of Financial Reporting role will suit candidates with a demonstrable experience within a technically focused group role, versed in managing the finance calendar and being a key point of contact for technical queries. You will be used to driving change and process improvement within a busy, fast paced environment.
The Head of Financial Reporting position will be based in Bristol offering a base salary between £100,000 and £120,000 per annum plus bonus up to 30%.
Key responsibilities include
* Deliver statutory reporting and management reporting across global entities
* Liaise with auditors and key stakeholders to deliver statutory accounts within deadlines
* Deliver quarterly shareholder reporting under IFRS/US GAAP
* Own the consolidations process and performance
* Ensure accurate completion of statutory audits
* Own the debt reporting and compliance areas
* Due diligence and financial support for transaction and M&A activities
* Drive a performance culture through the team, developing and enhancing the skill sets within
* Lead process improvement and optimisation exercises through areas such as fixed assets, Purchase Order process, ERP, finance timetable and control areas
About your experience
* Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
* Proven experience in a finance leadership role (managing 6+ team)
* Previous experience within a group and multi-entity environment
* US GAAP, local GAAP's, IFRS extensive experience
* Core background in financial accounting, reporting and consolidation
* Evidenced projects within finance transformation
