We are looking for a Finance Assistant for a 12 -month contract based in Derby. It is a hybrid model. Job Description - The Role We are looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join the Asset and Cash Management team. This role is ideal for someone with a finance background. The successful candidate will support inbox management, month-end activities, and both statutory and management reporting. As a Finance Assistant, the key responsibilities of the role will include: Managing the Asset Management inbox, responding to queries from various business units in a timely and professional manner. Assisting with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data. Supporting statutory and management reporting processes in compliance with internal and external requirements. Communicating effectively with global stakeholders, including teams based in Germany, Singapore, and the UK. What we require from the candidate: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant industry experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage global interactions Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines SAP knowledge is essential.
