We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in LabVantage LIMS to join a high-impact team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting LIMS solutions, with a focus on system configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of laboratory workflows. Key Responsibilities
* Develop, configure, and maintain LabVantage LIMS (versions 8.6 and 8.9)
* Design and implement solutions using Java and JavaScript, including page configurations
* Build and support instrument integrations via LabVantage LIMSCI and LV Connect
o Develop and maintain LIMS CI drivers and LV Connect parsers
* Configure and enhance the Lab Method Execution (LME) module
* Design and maintain reports using JasperReports
* Develop and manage label designs using Loftware Spectrum
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate laboratory workflows into technical solutions
* Follow established development strategies and methodologies within the XENA framework
* Use Bitbucket for version control and SonarQube for code quality and security analysis
* Incorporate AI tools and capabilities into daily development and operational activities
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS (v8.6 and v8.9)
* Proficiency in Java and JavaScript development
* Experience with LIMS integrations (LIMSCI, LV Connect, instrument connectivity)
* Knowledge of Lab Method Execution (LME)
* Experience with reporting tools such as JasperReports
* Familiarity with label design tools, preferably Loftware Spectrum
* Solid understanding of laboratory business processes and workflows
* Experience working within structured development frameworks (e.g., XENA)
* Proficiency with Bitbucket and SonarQube
* Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and solution delivery
