Key responsibilities Follow all safety procedures in full, ensuring safety is a number one priority Maintain the tool fitting equipment, ensuring equipment is safe before and after use. Report all tool issues identified whilst tool fitting Carryout maintenance on machine chests, seal, spray frames and other Carryout the setup of machines and to understand the process in full Able to prep and de-prep tools to understand the process in full Maintain your machines in line with the machine ownership programme, improving the visual appearance and functionality. Carryout tool maintenance to schedule, ensure all tools are labelled and stored correctly Support the NPI process by inspecting new tooling upon arrival and report any issues. Complete tool overhauls and services, e.g. re-securing cavities, re-drilling and re-tapping damaged or stripped bolts and adding core vents etc. Maintain all equipment including gun refurbishment, receiver frames, spray frames, bead pipes, airlines and backloading frame Can complete all tool fits and insert changes safely and to a high standard within the required timescales Knowledge and experience Proven experience in a similar role Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels Demonstrates experiences of making sound judgementunder pressure. Systematic and with high attention to detail Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively Effective team worker, equally able to work on their own Forward thinking: sound planning skills with the ability to anticipate potential obstacle Strong communication skills (written and oral) Good Time Management and organisational skills A flexible approach to work Previous experience of working within a technical or engineering role is desirable Working hours 38 hours per week Monday to Friday 6.00am to 14.00pm rotating 14.00pm to 22.00pm, Monday to Thursday. 6.00am to 12.00pm, 12.00pm -18.00pm Friday. Shifts can be subject to change.
