Early Help Team Leader Location: Brent Contract: Initial 6-month contract Hours: 36 hours per week Rate: £38.81 per hour (Umbrella) / £29.47 per hour (PAYE) About the Role Brent Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Early Help Team Leader to lead a team of Family Support Workers in delivering high-quality early intervention services. This is a key leadership role focused on improving outcomes for children, young people, and families by preventing escalation to statutory services. You will play a central role in coordinating multi-agency support and driving forward the objectives of the Supporting Families Programme, ensuring families experiencing multiple disadvantages receive timely and effective interventions. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of Family Support Workers (or equivalent), ensuring high standards of practice and positive outcomes for children and families. Work collaboratively with internal departments, schools, police, health services, and voluntary/statutory agencies to deliver coordinated support. Drive partnership working across the council and external organisations to support families with complex needs.
