Health and Safety Advisor Preston | £40,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits Irwin and Colton have been engaged to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor by a specialist civil engineering and construction company who operate on bespoke civil engineering and street works projects in the Northwest region. The organisation has a turnover of over circa £20 million and are looking at expanding the health and safety team due to company growth. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include: Engaging across the sites, implementing health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and developing contractors Assist with training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents where required Assisting with audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findings The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have: Experience in a similar role ideally from within construction or related industry NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent Good communications skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people Drive and enthusiasm with the ability to promote a positive Health and Safety cultureThis is a great opportunity grow and develop your career as the business grows.
