Job Title: Senior Care Assistant at HC One
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Everyone here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure the delivery of personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at meal times, or communicating with families, kindness is your guiding principle.
You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are also key responsibilities.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (S/NVQ) and be willing to pursue a Level 3 qualification or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for individuals with dementia is preferred. Essential qualities include positive energy, excellent communication, time management, and a considerate, kind approach.
