Job Description
3. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and partners.
4. Manage budgets, cost control, valuations, and forecasting.
5. Process subcontractor orders, payments, variations, and reports.
6. Prepare tenders and procure materials in line with company procedures.
7. Monitor cost movements and produce accurate financial reports.
8. Attend site and project meetings, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
9. Maintain systems and databases (COINS, Excel) and support commercial functions on-site.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quantity Surveyor (QS) should have:
10. Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
11. Strong knowledge of construction processes and cost management.
12. Experience in the property industry, particularly within the construction department.
13. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for cost estimation and reporting.
14. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
15. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
