Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in supported living. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. The Support Worker will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those in their care.
Responsibilities
* Provide client admin support
* Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
* Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines.
* Engage in companionship activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
* Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with specific needs.
* Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
* Facilitate mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
Experience
* Previous experience in supported living or similar environments is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with home care services is advantageous.
* Experience in caregiving roles involving patients with mental health or addiction is preferred.
* Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial.
