CCTV Field Engineer

We are expanding our capability and on the lookout for a CCTV Field Engineer to join our growing team. This is a full‑time, permanent position that requires out‑of‑office hours and extensive UK‑wide travel.
The successful candidate will need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Key responsibilities
* Work with Head of Service Management, PMO Manager, Technical Manager, and wider service delivery and service management team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are identified and implemented.
* System commissioning – collaborate with engineering partners to install at client sites, ensuring systems are delivered as specified. On site set up, assemble system, oversee engineering partner and sub‑contractor activities where necessary.
* Software configuration – adjust system settings “at the pole”, maximise efficiency and optimise effectiveness of solutions in situ.
* System support – assist the helpdesk team, carry out system checks and react to system generated alerts or client issues to troubleshoot and ensure maximum system uptime. Attend site for hardware replacements where required.
Qualifications
* At least two years’ experience in a field technical role, ideally with an enforcement/CCTV/ANPR system provider.
* Good working knowledge of hardware components (PCs, cameras, wireless, etc.) and networking devices.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
