Engineering Team Leader
Location - Norfolk
Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off days and nights
Salary - £50k - £55k
We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a well-established food manufacturing site in Norfolk. This pivotal role sits within the engineering function and is responsible for leading shift-based maintenance activity and providing robust engineering support within a fast-moving production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, manage a team of engineers and contractors.
* Conduct shift handovers, regular activities, and develop close relationships with wider site teams.
* Deploy engineering resources efficiently to optimise performance and reduce downtime.
* Support continuous improvement activities and make active contributions to site projects.
* Support the team with reactive and preventative maintenance through Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
Requirements
* Recognised electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications, such as NVQ, BTEC, HNC, HND etc.
* Experience in a similar role, such as engineering lead, lead engineer, senior engineer, maintenance team leader, maintenance shift leader, engineering supervisor.
* Demonstrable experience leading or supervising engineering teams.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders.
