To support the Adult Safeguarding Team by providing comprehensive administration and secretarial services.
Main duties of the job
1. Act as the first point of contact for the adult safeguarding team by telephone, for professionals and members of the public.
2. Take responsibility for providing a comprehensive, efficient, and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the adult safeguarding team, using initiative to problem-solve, prioritize work, and act on behalf of the team when appropriate.

Person specification
* Good standard of education, GCSEs or equivalent, RSA3 Typing/Word Processing qualification or equivalent experience.
* ECDL or NVQ4 in admin or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 2 years' secretarial and/or administrative experience.
* Computer skills, willingness to learn new software, experience with Excel database software, and managing competing demands.
* Experience working within NHS/medical terminology and understanding of Adult Safeguarding.
