Seeking Part-Time Employment Advisor Role
Would you like to support individuals with mental health support needs into employment? This role is ideal for someone who can start ASAP and has experience working as an employment advisor.
A reputable charity has been commissioned by the DWP to assist a group of 30 job seekers (aged 18+) across Kingston, Wandsworth, and Richmond, helping them back into work.
Role Details
* Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm), with flexible scheduling over 3 or 4 days based on your availability.
* Fixed-term contract until 30th September 2025, with a goal to support 9 individuals into employment during this period. Possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
Your initial meetings with clients will be at the local Job Centre, followed by ongoing community support. Key activities include:
* CV writing
* Job searching
* Interview preparation
* Benefits calculations
Candidate Requirements
Must have experience as an employment advisor or similar (e.g., job coach, careers advisor, employment consultant). Ability to start quickly and a genuine motivation for part-time work are essential.
