We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our team and help lead front-of-house operations.
The Role
As Assistant General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the venue. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service, maintaining operational excellence, and motivating the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
This is a hands-on role suited to a strong hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the General Manager in all aspects of venue operations
* Lead, inspire, and develop front-of-house teams
* Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered
* Drive sales and maximise profitability
* Manage rotas, labour costs, and stock control
* Maintain compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
* Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members
* Step into full operational leadership in the General Manager's absence
Supervisory Duties
* Lead shifts and support the front-of-house team
* Delegate tasks and ensure smooth service flow
* Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
* Assist with staff training and development
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering
* Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and company procedures
* Support opening and closing procedures
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
* Experience in high-volume food and drink venues (all-day concepts preferred)
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Commercially aware with experience managing KPIs
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Passionate about food, drinks, and delivering exceptional service
* Personal licence (preferred but not essential)
