Your Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.
Develop and implement a diverse music curriculum that supports students of all abilities.
Promote musical creativity, performance skills, and music appreciation through both practical and theoretical lessons.
Lead extracurricular music activities, including school concerts, music clubs, and performances.
Encourage self-expression, confidence, and teamwork in students through music.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards and continually improve the music curriculum.
Contribute to school-wide activities and enrichment programmes that highlight the importance of the arts.
Who We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
Previous experience teaching music at secondary level.
A passion for music and a commitment to inspiring students of all musical abilities.
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
Energetic, innovative, and student-focused.
