Assistant Brand Manager

📍 Maidenhead (hybrid 3 days connecting / 2 days WFH)
Circa £38,000 + benefits
The opportunity:
The role will be a key member of the European brand team and will be responsible for delivery of brand plan for this new brand launching in Germany, France and the Netherlands. This role offers all the security of working for a larger business corporate but all the fun of growing a challenger brand!
What will my accountabilities be?
* Support with the delivery of in-year activation plans with ownership of shopper marketing across Europe and support with digital activation
* Forge powerful partnerships with the European distributors to help build compelling plans and execute impactful activation
* Assist with the development of the innovation pipeline to drive consumer penetration
* Own the tracing of the A&P spend, including raising PO's and ensuring budgets are allocated effectively
A great candidate will have:
At least 2 years marketing experience in a branded FMCG business.
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of cross functional team collaboration.
A consumer and brand centric mindset in everything that you do.
An intensely curious and inquisitive nature about consumer/ shopper behaviour.
Commercial experience and be able to interrogate a brand P&L.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a natural ability to navigate complexity.
A proven track record of being a strong team player – you’ll need this to succeed.
