Your new role As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of new and existing products, contributing to innovative engineering solutions and continuous product improvement. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing machinery using SolidWorks Collaborating with production teams to resolve technical challenges Engaging with customers to address design-related queries and improvements Producing detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation Applying Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles Supporting prototype testing and implementing design enhancements Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices What you'll need to succeed Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline Proven experience using CAD software, ideally SolidWorks Strong understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively within a team environment Strong communication skills, both internal and customer-facing What you'll get in return Competitive salary (£33,000 - £45,000 DOE) 40-hour working week with an early finish (2pm) on Fridays 30 days annual leave Health & wellbeing programme Pension scheme Opportunity to work with an innovative and growing engineering business What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' or contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
