Salary: Total remuneration up to £62,169 per annum!

About the Role
As the council’s sole Planning Lawyer, you will:
Provide expert legal advice on complex planning matters, including Section 106 agreements, enforcement actions, and public inquiries.
Support high-profile projects shaping East Hertfordshire’s future.
Advise and guide elected members and officers, with a key role in Planning Committees.
Develop innovative legal solutions for a dynamic planning authority.

About You
Requirements include:
A qualification as a solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with a valid practising certificate.
Extensive knowledge of planning law, including experience with Section 106 agreements and enforcement.
Confidence in advising elected members and officers and managing Planning Committees.
