Role Overview
Vario is a market-leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which includes Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management, and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role is within our MLS team.
As the Vario team grows, we are recruiting a Delivery Manager to support our MLS Delivery teams in providing a world-class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. The role will focus on engagement strategies, pastoral care, and development of our legal delivery teams. The successful candidate will:
* Manage a team of paralegals focused on delivering work to lawyers and external clients, including supervision, training, development, and management of direct reports.
* Supervise the delivery of legal services to end users.
* Support service delivery management on engagements, including resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting.
* Develop delivery models to ensure best-in-class service.
* Build effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors.
* Work with Resource Management to allocate work effectively and monitor capacity and workload levels.
Our standard working hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with flexibility considered.
Candidate Overview

* Experience delivering legal services in a high-volume, multi-location environment.
* Ability to influence stakeholders in a large commercial law firm to promote alternative service delivery models.
* Experience working with performance metrics to ensure excellent service delivery.
