My client, a leading independent accounting and business advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Administrator to provide consistent and efficient administrative support across the business. The role will primarily support a specific department and Partner(s) while also contributing to wider firm operations and ensuring a professional front-of-house experience for clients and visitors. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to play a key part in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and supporting client service delivery. Responsibilities • Provide administrative and secretarial support to allocated Partner(s) and teams, including diary management, correspondence, and call handling. • Coordinate client communication, manage appointments, and maintain accurate data within firm systems. • Assist with meeting preparation, minute-taking, and document distribution. • Handle digital dictation, scanning, and document management to support a paperless environment. • Liaise with clients professionally via phone, email, and in person. • Support reception on a rota basis, ensuring an excellent client experience for visitors and managing incoming/outgoing mail. • Organise lunches, deliveries, and meeting room setups in coordination with facilities and IT. • Maintain stock levels and office supplies. • Assist with marketing activities and the onboarding/training of new staff. • Undertake other ad hoc administrative duties as required. Skills and Knowledge • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail. • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Experience using CRM or document management systems (e.g., CCH, Fibre CRM, Docusign). • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and work both independently and as part of a team. • Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach. Qualifications and Experience Essential: • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications. • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative role. Desirable: • Experience within a professional services or accountancy practice environment. This is a full-time, office-based role with limited flexibility due to its client-facing nature.
